Isn’t this probably some standard lowblood fantasy escapism though? All the teals/blues/purples want in her quadrants! (Along with everyone else, but, well. When it comes to choose…) And it’s not like she’s undermining the system in any way, she is striving to be good at the game as it has been defined!
PS, I still have to ramble on in response to your one post, but can I solidify my vote here for the Greys being yellows? Maps the best in my head.

I’ve actually written up my masterlist for Alternian Grey’s Anatomy it’s in the tag. It specifically mentions Eridan’s self insert/Avery fic.
Basically I still have no idea how pedeatrics works, how Karen and Arizona work compared to Lusi, but Neo-Natal in my mind are SWASHBUCKLING WARRIORS, who intercept Imperial Drones and make sure both buckets are still in good condition, removing parasites and infections and making sure everything is in order while battling 8 foot robots trying to kill them for interfering.
I do sometimes feel you are more devoted to the real premise that started this but I’m a bit too in love with the AU aspect. Although going back to trolls watching our GA I imagine Karkat and Eridan got into a huge argument about Teddy’s speech to Owen two episodes back as Eridan thinks it’s black romantic and was sobbing while Karkat screamed at him about how it was obviously platonic hate.
I did see your post and will get back to you later with thoughts! Maybe after even watching the latest one, who knows.

basically sometimes i get confused between eridan and karkat watching grey’s and actually setting Seattle Grace in Alternia (I have ideas about what neo-natal specialization would mean in Alternia) so i get so cross wired.
And also assuming by this point Eridan holds a high up place in the troll empire our planet may be spared just to keep producing soap operas for them!
*snickers a bunch* I am endlessly amazed either of us manages to get any comprehensibility out of this conversation. (But I hope it is still about both those things? I find both those things really hilarious. Also I’d love to hear your ideas about ideas about troll neo-natal specialization, mine so far have been on the theme of “don’t think about it too hard, and do not type out the worst puns”.)

AnonymousTangentially to that, I was complaining at someone else about Owen Hunt, and she said yes, but it was pretty great that the show itself seems to be of the opinion Owen is wrong and creepy. I am not sure - the show itself has always been more sympathetic to Owen than *I* am - but maybe?
